In this case study, we look at how the jewellery brand Clogau worked with Mom & Dad to produce a library of custom brand assets, a national TV campaign, and creative assets to use in retail design, exhibitions and comms.

Clogau Retail Design

The Client:

Clogau is a second generation family business based in Wales. For over 25 years, our growing range of jewellery has captured the hearts and imaginations of jewellery lovers from far and wide. Every piece we create contains rare Welsh gold – the Gold of Royalty for over 100 years.

Stage Production Design

Introduction:

The international jewellery brand Clogau wished to change brand direction, moving beyond the companies Royal connections to explore the world of storytelling through jewellery. Our brief was to write, produce and direct a campaign of creative content for in-store, online, as well as a national Christmass TV campaign.

Solution:

After a 3 way pitch, Clogau awarded the creative brief to Mom & Dad. “With in-house production and direction, Mom & Dad was able to provide a better creative consultancy and production solution.” Clogau.

Action:

Mom & Dad embarked on a period of research to identify and understand the brand’s key customer profiles, who, what, and where, before writing the creative campaign. The final campaign giving the brand the opportunity to creatively represent and engage with each customer profile.

From pitch to screen, in-store, and online, Mom & Dad provided Clogau with a single company solution for delivering the brands creative objectives. Mom & Dad handled every aspect of the project including the campaigns deliver right the way through to broadcast clearance and station delivery.

Results:

With content, video, and stills produced by Mom & Dad, Clogau’s internal studio, and marketing teams are now able to deliver social media posts, web site graphics, press advertising, and in-store retail designs that creatively match the brand’s national TV advertising campaigns.

Resulting in a cohesive tone, message and customer experience across all media channels and platforms.

Looking at the brand’s online reputation three weeks after the campaign launch in-store and online (TV campaign yet to air) we have monitored a lift in brands engagement and in online sentiment.
